Hop on a charming trolley bus for a complete tour of the city. Get off wherever you like at any of the 10 stops along the way. Visit the areas and attractions that interest you then simply hop back on the trolley bus to continue with your journey.

You can also choose to stay in the bus and simply enjoy the ride! Your tour will lead you to the most beautiful sites in the city such as the USS Midway, the Star of India, the Gaslamp Quarter and even San Diego Zoo. As well as being a practical way of getting around town, the trolley bus tour is also a way to learn about the history of the city by listening to your driver's commentary (in English). Your pass will be valid for 1 or 2 days, depending on your chosen option.

When you book, you will be asked to choose from the following options:

1-day Trolley Tour: your ticket will be valid for 1 calendar day

2-day Trolley Tour: your ticket will be valid for 2 calendar days (this does not have to be consecutive – you can use the second ticket any day you like within 6 months of the purchase date)

Availability: every day (except in exceptional cases)
Duration: unlimited access to the tour for 1 or 2 days depending on option chosen
The full tour without making a stop lasts around 2 hours
Schedule : varies by season, usually 9am-6pm
Frequency: every 30min approx
You are asked to select a date to make the booking. However, please note that you can use your ticket on any day (use-by date: 1 year after the date of purchase shown on your official ticket)
To start your tour, simply go to one of the stops on the tour and present your ticket to the driver
You can get on and off the trolley bus at any stop, at any time, as many times as you like
A map of the route is available at most San Diego hotels, and the stops are easily identifiable. If you wish, a shuttle bus can also take you from your hotel to Stop 1 in downtown San Diego

If you have booked a 2-day ticket, you will be able to enjoy your 2nd day's use whenever you wish (within 6 months)
As this activity is very popular, we cannot guarantee that all trolleys will have enough seats available on busy days
It is possible to bring folding strollers on the trolley, they will be stored at the front of the vehicle with the driver for safety reasons
Babies and toddlers can sit on the laps of parents or carers
This tour is accessible to wheelchair users
Service animals for the disabled, such as guide dogs, are the only animals accepted on the trolleys
