Discover Windsor and Stonehenge on a day trip from London!
After meeting your guide near Victoria Station, you'll first make your way to Windsor Castle.
Perched above the River Thames and housing over 900 years of royal history, you'll be free to explore the castle (depending on option) or visit Windsor on your own. Depending on which option you choose, you'll discover the State Apartments, featuring works by Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci, as well as St. George's Chapel, the burial place of King Henry VIII. You'll also have the opportunity to see Queen Mary's famous dolls' house.
You'll take the road again towards the site of Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll be free to admire (optional) these famous stones, 5000 years old, and can form your own opinion about what this mysterious place was like, while listening to the commentary on the audio guide available via an app to download onto your smartphone.
Snacks and a bottle of water will be provided to allow you to make the most of your time there!
You'll then take the drive back to London, arriving at around 6pm.
