Excursion to Radda in Chianti with wine tasting and a visit to a vineyard - From Florence

Discover the Chianti region on an excursion from Florence featuring vineyards, wine tasting and local produce!

You'll leave the center of Florence aboard a comfortable Gran Turismo bus, accompanied by a multilingual escort. During the journey, you'll learn more about the history and traditions of the Chianti region, famous for its rolling landscapes and endless vineyards that you'll admire along the way.

On arrival at the winery, you'll receive a warm welcome before beginning a guided walk between the rows of vines. You'll learn about cultivation techniques, soil characteristics and the local grape varieties that give rise to the wines you'll taste next.

The tour continues with a welcome toast with a local sparkling wine, followed by a tour of the vinegar factory. Here, you'll learn about the traditional methods used to produce balsamic vinegar and vin santo, two emblematic products of Italian gastronomy, bearing witness to know-how handed down for generations.

You'll then join the tasting room for a special moment around seven carefully selected wines. You'll taste a variety of whites, reds, sparkling wines and a vin santo, each accompanied by typical Tuscan products. Depending on the season, you'll taste local cured meats and cheeses, organic extra virgin olive oil, oils flavored with white truffle or chili pepper, as well as various balsamic vinegars, including a specialty with Certaldo onions.

At the end of this complete sensory experience, you'll be back on the road to Florence, with the opportunity to purchase wines, olive oils and other regional products directly from the estate.
