Set off on an afternoon excursion to discover the Chianti region, with two wine tastings and a guided tour of a vineyard, departing from Florence!
Depart from Florence by bus with your guide in the early afternoon and head to the Chianti region.
You'll begin your afternoon excursion with a guided tour of a typical Tuscan winery in Radda in Chianti, where you'll get to sample 3 locally produced wines. You will be able to purchase the wines tasted as well as other local products, such as olive oil, during your excursion.
You'll then have some free time to peruse the beautiful neighbouring streets and do a a spot of shopping in the little boutiques of the village of Radda in Chianti.
You'll then continue your guided tour with a visit to a vineyard nestled in the heart of the Tuscan hills. Unveil all the secrets of making a Chianti wine, from grape to bottle.
At the end of this guided tour, you'll have the opportunity to sample 3 local wines accompanied by some local products (olive oil and cured sausage), which you can then purchase at the farm shop if you’d like to take some home.
After a great day discovering local specialities, you'll take the bus back to Florence.
