Discover Büyükada, the largest island in the Princes' Island archipelago, from Istanbul!
The Isle of Princes comprises a group of 9 archipelagos, the largest of which is called Büyükada. During the Byzantine period, the Isles of Princes served as a place of pilgrimage for Christians and a place of exile for disgraced imperial families and aristocrats. Later, Büyükada served as a resort for Istanbul's wealthy families.
Your tour begins with a pick-up from one of the indicated meeting points, before boarding a boat across the Marmara Sea to the island of Büyükada. There, you'll enjoy a guided tour of part of the island, followed by lunch in a local fish restaurant. Finally, you'll have free time to explore Büyükada at your own pace or do a little shopping.
At the end of the tour, you'll be taken back to the center of Istanbul. From your boat, you'll catch a glimpse of Topkapi Palace, the Leander Tower and the banks of the Üsküdar district.
